Bighorn Wildlife Technologies Ltd. is a professional wildlife consulting company located in west-central Alberta.  We are staffed and equipped for conducting original field investigations, data analysis, interpretation and report preparation.  We use highly trained professionals and a wide range of experience to study and evaluate wildlife in novel situations.  Founded in 1991, BWT has completed several environmental impact assessments for the mining sector, conducted species-specific wildlife studies using satellite and radio telemetry for government and industry, and collaborated on applied research projects.  We have particular experience working in foothill, subalpine and alpine environments and in the integration of wildlife and human activity. We conduct baseline inventories, design and implement monitoring programs, and are experienced in various capture techniques for birds and mammals.  We are committed to providing a work environment that promotes teamwork, innovative thinking, and ongoing professional development in a safe work environment.
